    Kindermusik is a music and movement program for children and families that want to develop a lifelong love of music while learning and having fun.  This program includes weekly classes led by a licensed educator who offers learning using musical play.  The curriculum used develops confident, well-rounded, happy children and makes great parenting easier.  In this program, every student is given quality home materials to continue learning throughout the week.  We believe that the most important teachers are the parents, and that the home is the most important place for learning to take root and grow.  We educate parents about their child's development, as well as, ways to bond with their little ones. 

    Each aspect of the Kindermusik program is based on the belief that every child is musical and that music is a powerful stimulant for a child's total development.  Children can experience the magic of music without the pressure to preform, just the encouragement to stretch their boundaries with creativity and fun.  The curriculum used addresses the whole child with language skills, motor skills, social skills, cognitive development, and emotional growth.  The materials for the classroom and the home include the highest quality music cds, creative activity books, beautifully illustrated children's books, a parent's guide, and specially designed instruments.

    This program is also an excellent music therapy program for special needs children.  The classes are very child-led, meaning each child is allowed and encouraged to experience the activities however he/she would like to.  If a child is more comfortable enjoying the class in the corner on mom's lap, then that is very acceptable.  If a child is confident enough to be in the middle of all the activities, loud and proud, then that is also acceptable.  We offer inclusive classes for all ages, all developmental stages and needs.  However, we also offer special needs classes for those who want to be around others with common special needs.
